Pamela J. Mink, Ph.D., M.P.H. Assistant Professor of Epidemiology, Rollins School of Public Health, Emory University (2007-present); Georgia Cancer Coalition Distinguished Cancer Scholar (2007-present); Cancer Prevention Fellow, National Cancer Institute (1999-2002); Ph.D. (1999), M.P.H. (1995) in epidemiology, University of Minnesota. Much of Dr. Mink’s research to date has focused on hormonally related cancers in women and men. In particular, she has evaluated the roles of menopausal hormone therapy, exercise, obesity, and diet in cancer as well as in other major causes of morbidity and mortality. She is currently developing studies to examine the modifying effects of genetic factors on these associations.
