Work Study Student:
Sharoda Dasgupta, B.S., recently obtained a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin in May 2006.  She has extensive research experience in the fields of biomaterials, biochemistry, and bioethics.  Sharoda is currently working towards a Master’s in Epidemiology through the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University and is also a new member of the Georgia Cancer Study team.  She hopes to utilize her engineering background and the skills she is acquiring in epidemiology to segue into a career in infectious disease control.
